THE DEFINITIONS FOR THE CHECK BOXES ON THE EDIT INBOX SCREEN

FMS Knowledge Base > Visual LOADPlus FAQ's > Imaging
1. From the Imaging Main Menu, click on Inbox Maintenance
2. Highlight a folder in the Document Inbox and click on Edit
3. The Edit Inbox screen opens:

Name: The folder that is highlighted in the Document Inbox

Folder: The location of the highlighted folder

Default File Type: Select either jpg or tif (recommended)

Default for Combined Files: Check this option on if the scanner you
are using does not have an auto feeder. This will combine individually
scanned-in pages into one document as a jpg or a tif.

Fix Tif Files on Import: This option loads and saves TIF files

Read Barcodes: If this option is not enabled (not checked) then barcodes
will not be read at all. You will have to manually assign the documents.

If “Read Barcodes” is enabled AND “Look for Barcodes on all pages of multipage
document” is NOT enabled; you will have to manually assign the documents.

If “Read Barcodes” is enabled AND “Look for Barcodes on all pages of multipage
document” is enabled AND Assign pages following a barcode together as a packet
is selected then all the pages following a barcode will be assigned to the
preceding barcode. Any pages before the first barcode will be left in the
inbox to be manually assigned.

If “Read Barcodes” is enabled AND “Look for Barcodes on all pages of multipage
document” is enabled AND “Only assign pages with a barcode” is selected then
only pages with a barcode will be assigned. Any pages without a barcode will
be left in the inbox to be manually assigned.

To recap, you have 3 options and they are:
1. Don’t read any barcodes – You will manually assign all the documents.
    - Uncheck “Read Barcodes”

2. Assign the pages following a barcode together as one document. Any
pages prior to the first barcode will be left in the Document Inbox
    to be assigned manually.
    - Select Read Barcodes
    - Look for barcodes on all pages of multipage document
    - Assign pages following a barcode together as a packet

3. Assign only pages with barcodes and leave everything else to be assign
    manually.
    - Select Read Barcodes
    - Look for barcodes on all pages of multipage document
    - Assign pages following a barcode together as a packet
